Pace Car for Anglesey Half Revealed…

The Pace Car for the Anglesey Half Marathon has been revealed, and it’s a big deal.

The person behind the wheel of this specially designed car will be a high-profile celebrity who is passionate about running, and who will help to pace runners throughout the course.

The pace car is designed to be fast enough to keep up with the fastest runners but slow enough for those who are new to running. The driver will set a steady pace that all runners can follow as they run through Wales’ beautiful countryside.

The car, which is a customised Jaguar F-Type convertible, will be driven by John Prescott, who is the current president of the British Heart Foundation. He’s a renowned advocate for heart health and has been involved with many organizations that support people who have heart disease.

The race kicks off on Sunday, May 26th at 8:30am. It will take place in Holyhead as part of a celebration of all things Welsh culture. The course will wind through some of Anglesey’s most beautiful landscapes and include views of Snowdonia National Park.

We can’t wait to see everyone on Sunday!

We’re celebrating the Anglesey Half Marathon this year by dedicating our Pace Car to all of the runners who come out to show their support for this local event.

You can find us at the start line, running alongside you throughout the race, and cheering you on from afar as you make it to each mile marker. We’ll be there for every step of your journey, whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started with your fitness journey.

The Anglesey Half Marathon is set to be a fast one this year—and not just because it’s the half marathon.

The course itself will be lined with pace cars, which are essentially cars that help runners keep their paces. They’ll be driven by some of the fastest runners in Wales, and they’ll be decked out in some pretty snazzy outfits.

The idea is to help runners get used to running at a certain pace and help them set new personal bests. If you’re interested in running on the same course as these pro-level athletes, mark your calendars for June 9th!
