The Sandman Torch Light Trail Race is a half-marathon that takes place in Denver on April 17, 2024. The course consists of a single loop around the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The race will start at 7:30 AM and finish by 9:00 AM, so you can get back to your homes or hotels before it gets dark.
The race is open to all ages and abilities, but we do ask that runners be at least 14 years old and able to run 5 miles without stopping. Please note that this is not a Boston Marathon qualifier; however, if you complete this race in less than 2 hours and 35 minutes, we will give you an official Sandman Torch Light Trail Race medal with your name on it! In addition to this medal, we will also provide participants with snacks after the race (provided by our sponsors), as well as refreshments before the race (provided by us).
We’ll be providing water at several points along the course as well as gels at mile 4 and 8. Please note that there are no aid stations after mile 8; we recommend bringing your own supplies for the last 5 miles if needed (water bottles or fuel). There will be a limited number of aid stations on hand too.

Participants will have access to aid stations throughout the course with water, sports drink, and snacks such as bananas and granola bars. Participants who need additional nutrition may bring their own food or drinks.
We hope you’ll join us for this incredible event!
