Snowman – Travel & Accommodation

Hey, thanks for your interest in the Snowman Race! We’re excited to have you joining us.

Here are all the details:

The race will be held on December 20th, 2023 at 10am. The location is San Jose, California. There will be a half marathon and a 5k run/walk available to participants. That’s right, we have two races for you to choose from! The half marathon will take place along the Guadalupe River Trail and will feature beautiful views of downtown San Jose. The 5k race will be a fun way to get out with your friends and family members, or even just spend time with other runners in the community. You can also sign up as a virtual runner if you’re not able to make it out to California for the event!

You’ll want to get here early because there are lots of great things planned for race day! There will be food trucks serving up delicious snacks and drinks (including beer!), live music from local musicians, and more! It’s going to be a fun time for everyone involved—you won’t want to miss it!

The race will be organized as follows:

  • There will be an 8km and a 16km course available for all runners.
  • Runners can choose between an individual or team participation. The team size is limited to four members.
  • The fee for participation is $10 per person. All proceeds from the race will go towards funding cancer research at Stanford University Medical Center.

The Snowman Race is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the beautiful California weather while also supporting a local charity. This race will take place at Santa Clara University and go along their scenic course around the campus. The course itself is flat, though it does include some hills and one bridge crossing.

There will be aid stations along the way with water, Gatorade, and other snacks to keep you fueled during your run. There will also be plenty of volunteers to cheer you on!
