Thank you for your interest in the Snowman Race!
The race will take place on December 20th, 2023 in San Jose, California.
The structure of the race is easy: participants have to run at least 3.2 miles and wear a costume. The first 150 registered runners get a free t-shirt but everyone else has to buy one.
We strongly encourage everybody to participate! It’s going to be a blast!
The Snowman Race is a half marathon that takes place in San Jose, California. We love this city because of its great weather and friendly people—and now it’s your turn to see what it’s all about!
This event will be taking place on December 20th, 2023. The start time is 10:00 am local time (6:00 am EST). You can join us at any point along the route between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm local time (6:00 am EST). This is a family-friendly event, so bring your whole crew along for the ride!
You’ll start at the San Jose Convention Center and run down Market Street; then you’ll head north on N. First Street before turning east onto N. Third Street; then it’s back downtown to E. Santa Clara St., where you’ll head south before heading west again at Park Avenue West until you hit Park Avenue South. After that, we’ve got a few more turns to make—including one at Martin Luther King Jr. Way—before finishing up at Senter Road and ending our run with a big finish line party!
There are no fees for participation; however, we do ask that all participants wear some sort of festive attire for this event!
The race will start at 10:00 AM sharp with a gunshot, so make sure to arrive early to get your bib and get situated with friends and family. We’ll have plenty of photo opportunities along the way and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in costume!
